Former Pakistan cricket captain and star player, Babar Azam, is currently in Madina, Saudi Arabia, to pay his respects to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, the second holiest site in Islam.
Azam embarked on this journey to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during the ongoing month of Ramadan after concluding his participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
Sharing his pilgrimage experience on Instagram, Babar shared a video of himself performing ablution in front of the Green Dome, a significant part of the Prophet’s Mosque, which rests atop the beloved Prophet Muhammad’s grave.
In the caption of his post, the cricketer expressed reverence towards the holy prophet, writing, “At the doorsteps of the beloved prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him - The Orphan who adopted the world.”
