Following Punjab's lead, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has also decided to lower the price of roti across the province.
The provincial Food Minister, Zahir Shah, announced that the price of a 100-gram roti will be Rs15 and a 120-gram roti will cost Rs30.
Additionally, the federal government has reduced roti and naan prices in Islamabad, with roti priced at Rs16 and naan at Rs20.
