Karachi's National Bank Stadium is set to host the PSL 9 final on March 18, where table-toppers Multan Sultans will face Islamabad United for the grand Orion trophy. The first ball is scheduled to be bowled at 9 pm, with the toss taking place at 8:30 pm, as per the press release issued by the PCB.
Sultans, who secured their spot in the final after defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier, will be contesting their fourth consecutive final. They were crowned champions in the 2021 edition and finished as runners-up in the subsequent two editions, during which Lahore Qalandars secured two consecutive titles.
After finishing third on the table, United advanced to the final by defeating Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in the two eliminators. This will mark the two-time champions United's first final appearance since 2018, when they last claimed the PSL title.
