Pakistan's Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) announced that its communication satellite, PakSAT-MM1, has successfully reached its designated geostationary orbit.
Launched on May 30, the satellite is now positioned 38,786 kilometers above Earth at 38.2 degrees East.
Weighing 5 tonnes, PakSAT-MM1 is equipped with advanced communication technology to provide high-speed internet across Pakistan.
Following deployment, its solar panels are operational, and various tests will be conducted to ensure optimal performance.
This milestone aims to enhance Pakistan's communication infrastructure and digital transformation, reducing reliance on foreign satellites.
