A Saudi agency responsible for Islam's holiest sites has signed an agreement to explore dividing the Grand Mosque into coded zones. This is aimed at making it easier for worshippers to access specific areas of the vast mosque.
The General Authority for Care of the Two Holy Mosques signed the agreement with the Saudi Postal and Logistics Company. The goal is to create coded zones to help worshippers and workers navigate the Grand Mosque more efficiently.
The agreement will also assist in assessing performance, managing personnel, and ensuring high-quality services across the mosque, which is visited by millions of Muslims annually for prayers and Umrah pilgrimage.
